Attention: The village Department of Public Works (DPW) will be flushing fire hydrants this week. This biannual maintenance clears the lines and ensures that if an emergency occurs, village hydrants are safe and ready for emergency responders to use. This process will take several days, with the following anticipated schedule:

• Monday Park Ave area
• Tuesday River Street and Helen Hill areas
• Wednesday Lake Street area

Flushing fire hydrants will take place again in the warmer months.
