Village of Saranac Lake to Host Annual Community Cleanup Downtown Day

Saranac Lake, NY — The Village of Saranac Lake invites residents to come together for a day of service and community pride at the annual Community Cleanup Downtown Day on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

Volunteers will gather at Berkeley Green (corner of Main Street and Broadway) at 9:00 a.m. to assist with cleaning and maintaining public spaces throughout downtown.

The event is organized by the Village’s Downtown Advisory Board, a volunteer group dedicated to strengthening economic vitality and enhancing the experience, image, and livability of downtown Saranac Lake.

“Community Cleanup Downtown Day is a chance for us to come together around a shared purpose,” said Mayor Kelly Brunette. “It’s a simple but meaningful way to take pride in our community and care for the place we all share.”

Participants are encouraged to bring work gloves and wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Water and light refreshments will be provided.
