The Village of Saranac Lake is seeking candidates for two volunteer advisory boards, Downtown Advisory Board (DAB) and Parks & Trails Advisory Board (PTAB). Interested candidates should email a letter of interest highlighting their background, skills, and interest related to a particular advisory board by November 6, 2020 to comdev@saranaclakeny.gov.
An ideal candidate for either board will bring fresh ideas, strong community networks, and diverse perspectives. For DAB, a candidate must be a downtown property owner, a downtown business owner, downtown resident, downtown event representative, or work at a downtown business. For PTAB, a candidate must be a resident of the Village, however, exceptions will be made if specific expertise is desired by the Village Board of Trustees.
